playtime with Annie
While Jenn and Todd were off to Las Vegas for the weekend, I got got to play with Annie all weekend! I had so much fun with this little angel! We played rock band, watched Wall-e, went shopping and built a bear together! We had such a fun time together, I just had to blog about it! :)

The final dinner event of 2008.
Amber’s 21st Birthday and the beginning of 2009.
December, 31, 2008
8:00 – 10:00 pm EST
Hosted by Lynn Taylor
Cocktail attire: Black, Pink, Silver, White
RSVPS: Lynn (Mom), Paul (Dad), Patty, Randy, Josh, Tara, Joe, Jen, LeAnn, Amber, Sage, Carson, Annie, and Kai.
REGRETS: Todd, Jason, Ashley, and Paxton
Sunday dinner with the family has been a tradition I have looked forward to since I joined the Taylor Family in 1987. In honor of 21 years of great family meals and conversations, I thought it only appropriate to bring the family together to celebrate once more.
Menu: spinach salad, chicken croissants, steamed vegetables served with pink martinellies. And for Desert a Pink frosted double layered “fun-Fetty” cake with black cherry ice cream.
On my 21st birthday, I sat at the table that was full of food and drinks, lit by candles, with family and close friends. It was an atmosphere of openness and intimacy, which I hope to recreate in the future. After the delicious meal, we continued another family tradition of playing a game. A new game we’ve added this year is one, which we call “the question game”. A fill in the blank game with a mad libs type feel, this game gets the creative juices flowing with a surprising comedic whit.
We were sad to see that some members of the family were unable to attend, so hopefully this post will help to recreate the overall feeling of the night.
